take it every step
every square
bare feet
on concrete
never stop
never turn back
never again
will you crack
walk one way
till you hit nowhere
and your brittle legs
plant you elsewhere
never seen
fireflies
are you okay
as i limp on by
where will i cease i move
im still headed that way
where will i get so lost
that i pray
Faceplant
on the lake
never drown
never wake

sketch out a game plan of 300 years or so
look at life like another new dimensions hiding
just around your frame of sight
and act like you would
on the one you stand on
three snakes become six tentacles and
each becomes three giant centipedes
and each giant centipede becomes a whole batallion
close off every opening and
steel plate the stallions
are you to play god with me
moving on treads while moving on legs while
moving on quadrupedal lateral configurations
slide on your stomach slingshot with your beak
blast like your cocks of metal
roll like a slinky
make your rules on space and time
your world is now both flat round and dime-sized
seize every tentpole that dare get pitched
come mysteriously prepared to make this dirt your bitch
are you ready to play god with me
and all this time like a fool
you were woefully unprepared
for me to be prepared
for a threat like you
S is for slowly and also for success
while F is for fast and also for failure
this is how we move and we must be five-faced
must be everything at once at a snails pace
we can agree that the true god is change
and the change is the change from a checker to a chessboard
we turn the board sides shuffle up the suits
one side’s Poison Ivy, the other is a slicked up boot
are you to play god with me
one of these days im gonna blow gods head off
with one of his own bolts of lightening
hold me to that

jennifer wife of jiminy christmas
could you be any stronger
barking in life with sycophant kingsmen
could you be any longer with
your departure
you have great fortune with demeter
as the Lord of Misrule is yet to be crowned
it is the best of days
so does Catallus say
in the worst of times
so once said Dickens and now say I
jennifer wife of jimminy christmas
you know so much more than snow
given good life by blessed true christians
oh what does old jimmy know
litany on the fringes
dare i say its time to go
its not unspeakable
lets go
and keep the mortal a memory
give their boredom a memo from thee
jennifer wife of jimminy christmas
better raised a post-standard girl
finnegan knows he isnt a straight one
your husband will do fine there
kick back for teacher
this mirror
the dust and the shade
and the way it will dance
youve got the best of ways
in the coldest of winter sway
through the evening lantern light
you stay

worn and withered
you attempt to learn to take oil
then cometh holy water
from a belmont voice above
you grow vines from their pocket
bloom buds around his waist
cling tightly to his legs through
the extended silence
of the day
maybe you were never told love
the thorns that do protrude
and pierce the unequipped
to handle you
the fuel changes yet again
thick and viscous, blinding vicious
smelling sweet of a butchers cleaver
hatched in brick, slick with grease
old and hungry
their vision a pixel mess
cut with the smallest finger
the celery tendons of one of your many chests
how bloomed your berries
how quickly they devoured
never ripe enough never round enough
it was a simpler time
it was the sampler time
the sample must duplicate
and so must your stem divine

foxhood
hunting twink lucifer
armed with a small stick and
speaking loudly
cooing and chattering
and flickering xir ears
spots a dripping leaking
from the thick of this willow peak
foxhood
pursuing twink lucifer
fallen from two types of grace
one of angels, one of a
saved face
foxy xe cooed
your massively a few
gems in my pocket
i wish i had more friends like you
i wish i had more gems that danced like you
a rich mans a bitch man
this we know
a rich man is a snitch man
this we know too
and a rich man
can never be a witch tran
no no
this is the ancient law
the only one we follow
were hopelessly smitten by
the things we used to think we were
soaking words electric spells
leave me barely conductory
yr all soft rock and blissful sapphic country round me
a wild foxhood appears
what will
twink lucifer do?
what will
twink lucifer do?

Corvid XIX
04:40
|

an old birds dynasty made its name in pleasantry’s autumn
dove down deep and plundered all the silver from their neighbors willing treasury
fell one by one in greek vase patterns from the sky
down the hill nearby
the old king always a young king in thinking
peace with the monkeys and trolling upon the dinosaurs of their kingdom
always invading
always stirring up fun
to keep kingdoms active
and the pheasant folk entertained
gather they do where the train makes their stop
leaving on the same crusade and coming right back
marching in circles or perhaps patrolling
that which theyve made their fortress
xe collects the mass grave of yet another dynasty generation passed on
Corvid XIX pleasant and ruthless
dyed in the slaying of eight hostile birds of prey
meals of plenty for the children
dances of entry for the layers
xe uses the bones to line the boundary of where the roosting
where the next kingdom comes to be

Star Pee
02:18
|

messin around and fuckin around in
my very tidy forest playground
under the star pee
the stars got structures raining all over me
i love the plants that its growing
waitll the apothecary sees
i hope the seeds and the fragments make a fuckin wildin tea
i wanna see what kinda tea it is
i wanna see what kinda tea it is
and market it my patented star pee tea at the farmers market in town thats right
did you know the stars just peed these herbs out of the ground
out of the ground with a very loud sound from my private forest playground
got hit with a good dose of star pee
strange growing star structures whizzing all over me
i guess this means that the good stars like me
i hope there are no bad stars with no bad kind of star pee that hurts more than it heals
that patches up less than it causes to peal and blister
and blister please mister
this storys none of your concern
i was talking to this cutie here she
is my very best friend and she was curious about the fact that stars do pee and its lovely
the fact that stars do pee when the scenery pleases them so
and all the plants that star pee grows
either making fascinating fruits or vegetables or even tea
these things so satisfy me
my star pee apples and star pee peaches make a good tasty snack with my star pee tea and
crumpets
i remain astounded that its only founded within my forest playground
star pee
just the first ounce and a half coughed a finished sweater out from me
star pee
star pee

yr fuzz
yr fuzz
yr breast
yr soft pools
yr sprinkles
in the tangles
yr soft smoky voice
blowing through my ears
yr expanses
you meet me face to tired face
yr cave of warm wind
clinging
walk through my house like a candle
all of your wax is bared to the dark
leaving a path of solid puddles down my hallway
cradled in your tentacles
resting my head on pillows of skin
basking in your campfire scent
and bathing
within
i run my hands in yr forests
through your vines and up and down your cliffs
making my way to the rose garden
where i am spring
i am your spring
you are my autumn
i burrow in the holes of every tree that smells like you
clinging
hanging on yr piercing
stuck in the maze of yr earring
i sneak through the wild brush of your sandy hair
this is where the water acts frozen
flowing so even and undisturbed
when you run your fingers through
you feel every little quiver
fuzz
fuzz
understand this is a sacred place
non dare enter here
except for me
for you
fuzz
fuzz
stung
stung into wet
wet into worm like
speak soft and tender
carry all with you that is big
fuzz

they first flew in twilight
with wings folded clumsily
and some in albatross, ostrich and loon
and the crafters beside her were hungry like spiders for her end
she dirtied the sky
with things that could barely fly
and even took pride in it
the cutters dance that this crafter danced
was too improvised
her footsteps her fingers not one with her scissors
when paper crane crafters perfected their slice
then nary a cut
til the paper was earth, and each fold a mountain and in the cutters eyes the presence the
essence the movement
of that cutters god
On high
as the masters left slowly
behind they left the Nasruddin
the sky is a plague that is yours to continue
and ours to abandon
our care now grows nothing
our harvests turn empty
the lone cutter left now feels she must shift focus and do so to fix
the dirty webbed bloody twine that blankets the sky
when the cranes were loosed
they snipped away the barriers and bared forth the clouds
and the rains of autumn and spring
so long did she live in the wrong cutters dance
now to pivot to the right step
lost in the knowledge she now must learn
with no one but herself
to glean
snip away
snip away
the more little traces of brightness are shown
to beaks that grow sharper
and wings that grow more respectful

The Lonely Painter
03:28
|
|||
i am a lonely painter
i live in my satchel of paint bags
using bases that are all thats available to me
the statues that tower
have burned all the arts away
except for me
day by day
the soldiers come
and i replenish supplies
thankfully
they already come with red
deoxidize to make blue
draw from a different place for yellow
dig deep in the thick of the heart if you dare
and youll find the black aplenty
apply it to dry ice and now you have white
i wont run out for a lifetime
my pieces they line the way
to draw my replenishings in
when stories spread i see
that they no longer destroy them

EveryForm

and every form i took i was hurt
and every form i took i was told i didnt hurt enough
and every form i take i am told that it is fake
and every form i took i cried out harder
when nothing hit me
so any instance was a new question
i could not help but place myself inside the villain line
i never find myself defending (worthy)
i just drop to my knees and try to manifest all the money i can make
do not intend to keep a penny for myself
im intending to be sending every penny straight to you
i break myself and make myself work something of an oxen
doesnt matter if im broken
so were you
cause every form i took i was hurt
and every form i hurt was a form that you were hurting too and
every form i took i was wrong
and every form i took that was right, it took me long enough
every form i took i was caged like a bird
every form i took i found myself speaking one less word
and every form i took i got
a little larger
and every form i took i added
one more piece of armor
clang clang clang clang
clang clang clang clang
clang clang clang clang
clang clang clang clang
and every form i took i was hurt
and every form i took i was told i didnt hurt enough
and every form i take i am told that it is fake
and every form i took i cried out harder
when nothing hit me
clang clang clang clang
clang clang clang clang
clang clang clang clang
clang clang clang clang
and every breath i took i felt impressions of a set of
knuckles in the gut and i blew it back up
every form i shaped like a festive amber cake
and every breath i took i blew the candles out for me

Destined Not For Land
12:22
|
|||
grieve now
so the burn doesn’t spread
grieve now
even though no one is dead
be thankful
you grew in ways you were never promised
dont be spiteful
or maybe be
maybe be
all the vileness within you from the moment of
its out its out
no need to fester no more
if im a child cause i dared to foster anger
for one second
get out get out
if it dwells
you know its a spell
theres more to the brain
of a wishing well
and maybe the thoughts that you really think
are deeper in complexity
and maybe the things that you wonder about
are really worth forgetting
and maybe the things that you wish had happened
weren’t supposed to be
you were destined not for land
but for sea
pour me another glass of skullcap basil tea
destined not for land but for sea
destined not for land but for the fingers of the circuitry
destined for the glow of a screen
sleep now
youve been staying up since 5am again
sleep now
see the morning. see how positive the day feels then
say hello to the girlfriend over the border
you’re desperately working to try to see
listen to how she admires you
you’re everything that she’s ever dreamed
let that be your focus
let it grow you into grey hairs softly
sit down once in a while
maybe try one sip of this coffee and
find the peace in these new surroundings
never flatter, never wider
never softer, never lighter
never rougher, never kinder
lay down onto the deck on your ship
footsteps on all sides
let her find you and lay next to you
and rediscover the clearness of the sky
and maybe the thoughts that you really think
are deeper in complexity
and maybe the things that you wonder about
are really worth forgetting
and maybe the things that you wish had happened
weren’t supposed to be
you were destined not for land
but for sea
pour me another glass of skullcap basil tea
take that step
face the world awoken
take that next step
its been spoken
keep taking more steps
now the world gets to turn over at the speed of your feet
take a step up
and another step up
now your somewhere higher than
the gullet of the street
and maybe you can stay up there
maybe you fall back down
maybe you break a foot on the way
and have to just hop around
maybe someone builds an elevator
especially for you
maybe you become a roller skater
put that one good foot to use
all you know is that when you stop
you’ll look around and notice
that you’ve since waltzed into another country’s borders
and maybe you want to exit
but theres no way that you can
one day the walls will crumble
but for now you exist in the place you stand
and maybe the thoughts that you really think
are deeper in complexity
and maybe the things that you wonder about
are really worth forgetting
and maybe the things that you wish had happened
weren’t supposed to be
you were destined not for land
but for sea
pour me another glass of skullcap basil tea

Spider Mountain II
07:36
|

assimilate me
give me a home
assimilate me
give me a home
voices i hear for the first time
immediately recognize
come
well sip tea
darker than night
foxhood goes running
for a bite
feel your comfort on all 8 legs
spider mountain
a cable runs over us
and trailing upon it a wayward carriage
carrying the rust of a populated place
and with it some curious names
finding home in the ghiblis
finding hoods of their own fauna
come
well partake in this potion
make our bed in the stream
feel your comfort on all 8 legs
spider mountain
warm as ember
voice so soft and so low
touch so lush
in liquid cotton
singing quietly with me
in long unbroken soothing tones
everything blurs
and all that is is you and the mist
from the river outside
i become a washing wave
over you
inhale
exhale
with eyes closed
laying together
nose to nose
in the hum of the air
dont need to do more
we can simply be there
manifesting you
waiting for you
to find me
singing out your name
in a breathy whisper
from spider mountain
singing out your name
with the crickets and cicadas
in spider mountain
singing out your name
sleeping under my tree
on spider mountain
whispering your name
sleeping under my tree
on spider mountain
